My Lens
I am a white genderqueer transman, and I identify as small-fat, neurodivergent, and an anti-racist healer, educator, and activist. I value personal autonomy, informed consent, freedom, equity, and social justice. I was born in Los Angeles, and grew up in San Diego as a wanna-be surfer skater-boi and animal lover. Food is my biggest special interest, and I love being a dad to my pets and house plants. In my free time I am nearly always listening to a YA fantasy audiobook.​
I have been an activist in the transgender community since 2005, and spent 10 years working as a college Health Educator before becoming a dietitian.
Accountability & Harm
I am a provider who has done harm in the past and who has participated and public and private accountability. I aim to receive all feedback as a gift and an opportunity for personal growth, repair, and accountability. I dream of and work towards being a humble, de-colonized, and liberatory healer . . . and when I don't live up to those expectations I take responsibility, seek consultation, and always attempt to repair with those I've harmed. I will never be silent about injustice, dehumanization, or genocide.

I welcome your thoughts, fears, political views, mistakes, and whole self in our work. I don't believe I am a blank slate. Rather, I am a whole person and I am open to sharing about my background, my bias, and my values.
